My "Oh so lovely" Singing Voice

Four and a half hours from NYC to Boston, then four and a half hours from Boston to Portland really entices the wanna-be Beyoncé from a girl. As I belted "Perfect" by P!nk (Jason Chen cover) in the back of the family car, I began to wonder why my version would never sound as good as P!nk's. What makes someone's voice sound better? What are the people who sound like dying cats -cough cough- missing?

  1. i think some people are born naturally talented with a good ear for music while some people need to work on it some more. Singing talent can be developed over time through hard work/diligence I think, that's what the vocal coaches are for :)

Lol! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one either xD. I think that's why I started this blog. To put all the curiosity out there. I'm sure everyone wonders about the same things, but we never say them out loud. Haha..

  8. Vocal training? Good genes? I dunno but there are a few people who've "made" it in the biz who sound like cats dying. Just saying! ;o)
