My "Oh so lovely" Singing Voice

Four and a half hours from NYC to Boston, then four and a half hours from Boston to Portland really entices the wanna-be Beyoncé from a girl. As I belted "Perfect" by P!nk (Jason Chen cover) in the back of the family car, I began to wonder why my version would never sound as good as P!nk's. What makes someone's voice sound better? What are the people who sound like dying cats -cough cough- missing?

Leave your comments below on what you think!

  1. i think some people are born naturally talented with a good ear for music while some people need to work on it some more. Singing talent can be developed over time through hard work/diligence I think, that's what the vocal coaches are for :)

  2. @Angel Feliciano

I agree! Sometimes I wish I was born with that talent.. Would be awesome to have perfect pitch and can distinguish notes by ear^^ haha

  3. I cant sing but i dont care i sing anyway hehe

  4. Hahah, oh my gosh, I'm glad that I'm not the only person who wonders these things!

  6. @Stephanie L.

Lol! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one either xD. I think that's why I started this blog. To put all the curiosity out there. I'm sure everyone wonders about the same things, but we never say them out loud. Haha..

  7. Haha!
I wish I knew! I would own the stage!

  8. Vocal training? Good genes? I dunno but there are a few people who've "made" it in the biz who sound like cats dying. Just saying! ;o)

  9. @Sonia De Macedo

    Haha.. Auto tuned?
